Today we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival, which is a traditional festival celebrated in Chinese culture.

Our parent carers gather together to learn how to keep healthy during autumn sessions, and how to take care of themselves and their loved ones. We prepared Moon cakes for everyone for this special day.
We thank you all for following us on our social media and thank you Swansea Carers Centre for your support and for providing us with your wonderful cozy Cwtsh, and as always, thank you The National Lottery Community Fund for making this happen.
A little fun fact of the Mid-Autumn Festival?
The festival celebrates:
?Gathering: Such as family and friends coming together, or harvesting crops for the festival. It is said that the Moon is the brightest and roundest on this day which means family reunion. Consequently, this is the main reason why the festival is thought to be important.
❤️Giving thanks: To give thanks for the harvest, or for harmonious unions
⭐ Praying: Praying for love a good future and so much more.
