As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for collaboratively developing and implementing project plans and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION OFFICER

We are seeking a talented and creative Marketing and Communications Officer to join our team and promote the “OUR STORIES – Collecting the oral histories of the Chinese community in Wales” project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. As the Marketing and Communications Officer, you will will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote an oral history project and its related activities. The Marketing and Communications Officer will collaborate with project stakeholders to identify and engage target audiences, share key information and create content for various communication channels, including social media, email newsletters, website, and media outlets.

ORAL HISTORY INTERVIEWER

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Oral History Interviewer to join our team and implement the “OUR STORIES – Collecting the oral histories of the Chinese community in Wales” project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. As an Oral History Interviewer, you will be responsible for conducting oral history interviews with members of the Chinese community to collect their personal stories and memories and document their experiences and perspectives. The Interviewer will work closely with project stakeholders to select interviewees and develop interview questions that explore topics such as migration, journeys to Wales, cultural identity, and community engagement. The Interviewer will also be responsible for editing interview footage in partnership with the filmmaker/videographer and ensuring their accuracy, authenticity and quality.

FILMMAKER/VIDEOGRAPHER

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Filmmaker to join our team and implement the “OUR STORIES – Collecting the oral histories of the Chinese community in Wales” project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund. As the Filmmaker, you will be responsible for using their creative and technical skills to capture oral history interviews for a special Heritage project within the Chinese community. You will work closely with the project team to film and edit video content that will be hosted on a digital gallery and used for educational and archival purposes.
