On Saturday, 4th July, children, parents, and volunteers set off for a wonderful day of sunny outdoor exploration at Parc Slip Nature Reserve in Bridgend!

Guided by expert staff from The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW), families had the chance to fully immerse themselves in nature. It was an action-packed trip that combined outdoor play with rich hands-on learning—from getting close-up views of local bird species and tracking down moles to learning about ecosystem conservation and local history.

A Big Thank You to Our Volunteers & Partners!

A special trip like this relies heavily on community support. We extend a huge thank you to:

  • The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW): For leading such engaging, educational, and fun activities for all ages.

  • Our Volunteers: For your constant care, companionship, and support throughout the day, ensuring everyone stayed safe, happy, and well-looked-after from Swansea to Bridgend and back.
