We had a great turnout yesterday for the Coronation Celebration to allow our community members to take part in the historical event in life in the UK. Most of our members are migrants, and CIWA is working hard to help the Chinese community in Wales integrate into society by enhancing their sense of belonging to the country.

From our activities they got to know more about the history of Monarchs in the UK and of course King Charles III. The participants were happy and especially the older people dressed up wonderfully for this special occasion. This helps to increase the well-being of our young and old people and to improve their engagement with the community.

One of our members, Mr. Peng, who suffers from chronic illnesses has shown his talent in calligraphy by writing 国王万岁 which translates as Long Live the King.

It is worth noting, one of our team members working in HongKong was celebrating together with us a thousand miles away.
