Artist Bio
Zixian Chen graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama with a postgraduate degree in Piano Performance under Michael Young, and studied at South China Normal University under Professor Liang Ying. She has appeared as a soloist and quintet at the Dora Stoutzker Hall and as a student representative at the Newport Cathedral, St. Fagans National Museum. She has had the honour of being tutored by British pianists Imogen Cooper and Charles Owen, as well as Russian pianist Yulianna Avdeeva, winner of the 2010 Shaw Competition.
