This is a community lead event by our community who are facing housing issues like damp, pests, and rights as a tenant. Therefore, we decided to hold this Housing Talk for the benefit of all who would like to learn more. Steve from Citizen Advice had explained briefly but clearly the common housing problems facing the local residents due to the time constraint.

We also invited Police Community Support Officers, Patrick Dunbar, and his team to explain the importance of reporting Anti Social Behaviour and Hate Crimes. Our participants learned useful information given by Patrick and his team on how to keep their property safe. They also learned how to report crime online by using the platform given by the police.

This was a good opportunity for Citizens Advice and South Wales Police to engage with the Chinese Community in Swansea. Our community members look forward to having more engagement sessions in the coming months.
