Care for Our Beach Leaflet 3

Litter Picking at the Beach in Swansea

Following our effort back in August, to promote Care for our beach, we were thrilled that some parents and their children offered to take part in a beach cleaning event. It is a gesture to show that they are now aware of the importance of caring for the environment and want to contribute no matter how small.

Rain or sunshine, we make the change one litter at a time. Thank you to our volunteers for turning up even a day before their new academic year, in typical Swansea weather! A big thank you to Chris from the Environment Centre for providing all the equipment and lovely company.

If you are interested in joining, keep a lookout for every other Wednesday! The next one will be 05/10/22 Wednesday, meeting at the Environment Centre, Swansea Marina SA1.
