As part of the Chinese in Wales Association’s Older People Project, kindly funded by the West Glamorgan Region, we were pleased to deliver a series of health talks led by Dr Fu, a Chinese medicine practitioner, supporting the wellbeing of our older community members.

Better Sleep Talk – 20 April
This session focused on improving sleep quality through Chinese medicine approaches. Dr Fu shared insights into common sleep issues, along with practical tips and lifestyle advice to help participants develop healthier sleep habits and achieve better rest.

Herbal Sachets Workshop – 18 May
In this interactive workshop, participants learned about the traditional use of herbal sachets and their benefits. Dr Fu guided attendees in creating their own sachets, offering a hands-on experience that combined learning with cultural practice.

These sessions provided a welcoming space for our older community members to learn, connect, and explore simple ways to support their health and wellbeing.
